The Librarians Are Avenged!
I find it incredibly delicious (almost as good as chocolate) that the yes men on Capitol Hill have finally NOT given the Shrub what he wants. In fact, he has gotten a nice little frosk in der pisk (slap in the puss to you gentile types) from Congress over the section of the Patriot Act dealing with libraries.
He should've known better. After all, he IS married to someone who makes a big deal about the fact that she once was a librarian. Whatever did happen, Laura? Certainly Georgie Porgie and Mary-Kate and Ashley--excuse me, Barbara and Jenna--are not to be seen in D.C. bookstores, much less the crumbling D.C. libraries. While in contrast, the Clintons were seen in such places regularly....
Take heed, legislators, before you ever consider pissing off librarians again. Because we will be AVENGED!
